Wallace Walker specialises in the strategic, commercial and organisational elements of the Defence Support Chain.  We have been consulting within the Defence sector for over fifteen years with both the Ministry of Defence and the industrial supply base, including original equipment manufacturers, prime contractors and service companies.

Our work has included producing option studies and business cases in response to numerous Defence policies, strategies and initiatives, including: end-to-end studies; capacity and capability reviews; organisational reform agendas; commercialisation agendas; increased industry engagement and outsourcing; as well as the ongoing review of defence assets as part of wider Government efficiency and effectiveness programmes, and austerity measures.  This has involved setting out recommendations for improvement in both operational and financial performance of logistics support, covering streamlining of processes, rationalisation of support structures, re-alignment of organisational boundaries and supply-related accountabilities, and improving the definition of logistics output.

We have also been engaged to develop business cases to support joint ventures and diversification strategies.  We have run many senior strategy, management and organisational planning workshops and events, and facilitated a number of high-level partnering discussions between MoD organisations and industry.
